As part of our “Women in Science” celebrations, we welcomed Claudia Alarcón Lopez, Dr. Patricia Alireza, and Dr. Rita Lobo to campus for a series of workshops showcasing cutting-edge scientific research.  

Ms. Lopez, a nanotechnology engineer, explored the intersection of science, diplomacy, and policy, sharing her journey from EPFL to the UN. Dr. Alireza, a quantum matter physicist from Cambridge, brought superconductivity to life with interactive demonstrations, including magnetic levitation. Dr. Lobo, a Senior Medical Director in reproductive medicine, examined advancements in maternal care.
