30 Jun Berliner Philharmoniker
The Berlin Philharmonic (or officially, the Berliner Philharmoniker), one of the world’s leading orchestras, was at the Rosey Concert Hall on Wednesday 28 June. And leading the second violins was our own Christophe Horak, an ancien from the 90s. The concert lived up to the orchestra’s reputation: clarity, great ensemble, a velvety sound of enormous quality and a performance of deep feeling, The orchestra particularly enjoyed playing in our beautiful and friendly concert hall with its wonderful acoustics as well as the warm welcome it was accorded by a young and not-so-young audience who finished the evening with a standing ovation.
