07 May ISTA 2019
Over the weekend of 3rd, 4th and 5th May , Le Rosey hosted an international festival of primary drama. We welcomed 110 children aged between 8 and 13 years of age, from schools in Copenhagen, Budapest, Portugal, Zug, Lucern, Zurich, Lausanne, Geneva and Le Rosey.
The theme for this year’s festival was water and to commence the weekend’s activities, students spent Friday afternoon at Rolle Plage participating in a multitude of activities, from obstacle courses to water stories and water music!
Across the weekend, ISTA experts and local enterprises joined the students for several workshops, including hip hop dance, stage combat, puppet making and more. The festival concluded with an end performance of a song composed by the children about the importance of saving water.
A huge thank you to all the pupils who participated with such energy and enthusiasm but also to the Rosey staff who helped enable the weekend to be such a success.
