08 Jan Roséennes in Gstaad since 1968
Although the events are not directly related, the first Thursday of 2018 made some think back to 1968 when the first Roséennes of a newly co-ed Le Rosey spent an inaugural winter in Gstaad. This was because this year, for the first time, lunch was mixed. Instead of girls taking the train up to Schönried and then coming back down for afternoon classes, the school organised two sittings and boys and girls ate together. It is just another small step in making Rosey boys and girls just a little less separate. And the idea was one promoted by the students themselves.
