20 Jan A first for Rosey! A winter term in Rolle and Gstaad
Both of our campuses in Rolle and Gstaad were covered in snow for the start of the second term to welcome back the Rosey community. This will surely become a key moment in Le Rosey’s history, as Roseans spend time between both campuses this winter: the Junior section takes up residence on the Schönried campus, whilst Seniors split the season between the Jura and the Bernese Alps, visiting Gstaad by class throughout the term and with timetables modified accordingly to make the most of their time spent in both places. In Rolle, the campus has adapted to embrace our winter presence with covered tennis and uni-hockey courts to enable the continuation of a variety of outdoor sports; ski-touring, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing expeditions will also be offered in the neighbouring Jura. Though the Arts are no less important during the winter term in Gstaad, maintaining access to the Paul & Henri Carnal Hall this season means that they will assume a more important role than usual, reiterating the sheer breadth of activities that Roseans can participate in each week as part of the school’s enriching curriculum.
