Le Rosey’s ice hockey club has begun its pre-season training sessions this autumn term. With small scale skills and drills, the senior boys and enthusiastic veteran teachers have been working hard in preparation for the winter in Gstaad. Practising in a small group, two against two is challenging, intense and fast, with mistakes punished quickly and decision making rapid to test the goalies. Enthusiasm is infectious and the level is consistently improving; the team intends to play competitively against local teams in the coming months and is already looking forward to seeing old faces in Gstaad to compete in the Alpina Cup, as well as welcoming the Anciens back for the annual battle!
