14 Jul A Touch of Magic Before the Summer
After months of rehearsals and more than 40 hours of auditions to select the pieces for only three hours of performances, after the serious training of our “student “tech crew” with all the professional equipment at their disposal in the Rosey Concert Hall and Black Box, and after our tense end-of-year examination sessions, Rosey students put on a fête artistique which highlighted the enormous range of their talents in a classical concert, a rock concert and a performance of Aphra Benn’s The Rover.
And on the following day, in a slightly more solemn ceremony, they applauded their fellow roséens as the IB and French bac senior class graduated from Rosey in a moment of celebration tinged, as always, with more than a little sadness and regret.
