The U17 netball team played their first official home match at La Combe against the Aubonne U17 team. With three national Swiss players in the opposing team, we were expecting a tough match, but remained confident in our players’ abilities which had seen them previously unbeaten all last season. This particular team at Rosey has been playing together since the Juniors and their cohesion and encouragement of each other continue to take them from strength to strength. Excellent teamwork from every player culminated in an appropriate win of 31-14.

Similar results were seen with our Junior team, winning enthusiastically against Aubonne with a win of 22-4. Great defence, agile footwork and strong shooting from our young players puts them in a brilliant position for a successful season ahead.
