The Rosey Concert Hall acoustics are exceptional both for the public and for the musicians who perform there: all have been delighted by the rounded clarity of the sound.  Several CDs have already been recorded there and last week, the marvellous Cecilia Bartoli  spent a number of days with a specially selected orchestra recording arias from Baroque operas. She was quick to share her enthusiam for the hall – which, thanks to its spacious orchestra pit, its equipment and specialized personnel, could become an opera venue.  We can now at least dream of an opera performed at Le Rosey with – who knows? – Cecilia Bartoli heading the cast.
