25 Jan Chalet Eggli sortie
On a crisp Wednesday evening, Roséens from Chalet Eggli gathered their skiwear and headed up to the Wasserngrat chair lift, opened exclusively that night for Institut Le Rosey. At the top, students and staff enjoyed a typical Swiss fondue and rösti dinner in the restaurant, set against the stunning backdrop of a glittering Gstaad town below.
After a delicious meal, came the descente aux flambeaux with students lighting torches to carry down and illuminate the way. Yet the chalet sorties are much more than an adrenalin-fuelled activity for students. This evening offers them an ideal opportunity to break the ice again with their peers after the Christmas holidays and the perfect time to forge new friendships during an experience like no other. Even for students who do not wish to ski down, the chalet sortie is a key moment to enjoy a special evening amongst friends and maximise their collective experience of the winter term here in Gstaad.
