Class 3 students had a cold weekend in the Jura crossing between the Col du Marchairuz and Col du Mollendruz. In total they covered around 28km carrying all the things they needed to be self sufficient for the weekend and navigating themselves to find their way.

Part of the challenge was for students to choose their own menus, buy and cook their own food. After complaints about Le Rosey pasta during the week it was surprising that they all chose pasta and sauce for their evening meal! Perhaps they like pasta more than they say.

Students coped very well in very cold temperatures and enjoyed the experience of staying in tipis overnight. Well done Class 3!
