On Thursday January 23, the finals of the Concours d’eloquence were held at the Gstaad Yacht Club. The 11 finalists, chosen by 2 juries of teachers during the auditions, were given carte blanche for the subject and 3 minutes to convince!

Sensitivity, commitment, relevance and humor! The candidates, from class 5 to class T, delighted us: they brilliantly conveyed their message and their commitment to a subject close to their hearts. They also made the French language shine in this beautiful setting. A panel of judges, all lovers of the French language, argumentation and oratory techniques, had the difficult task of awarding 4 prizes.

Congratulations to the winners, finalists and 52 participants who participated. Congratulations to the 17 non-native French speakers who dared to take the challenge. They are our school’s best ambassadors for bilingualism!
