08 Nov MUN Conference at Le Rosey
Le Rosey welcomed more than 130 students from nine different schools to its fourth annual MUN Conference on Monday 5th November.
It was the largest and most ambitious Rosey conference to date and shows the popularity of the MUN club at the school.
Delegates in General Assembly One discussed the Kashmir border conflict while those in GA Two tried to resolve the Crimean border conflict. Both then turned their attention to the issue of whether the UN should regulate trade.
The Environmental Committee debated the illegal wildlife trade and the problem of plastic pollution around the world while a special Historical Committee re-wrote the Treaty of Versailles.
It was a busy but thoroughly engaging day, which offered all schools present a great opportunity to expose their students to research, debate, public speaking, negotiating and voting. Well done to all involved!
