This term saw the very first international rowing trip for Rosey as 8 Roséens travelled to Prague for a weekend on the water in the Czech capital to train with one of the country’s oldest sport clubs and their coach’s home club, Slavia Prague. The team was able to test out both the quadruple scull and 8-boat available to them during the trip, rowing a total of 7km through the city centre on Saturday and then a further 6km on the Sunday. It is a true privilege to be able to row through the city’s historical centre and Roséens were able to appreciate both the city and the sport from a new perspective.
