Over the past weekend, our newly student-elected comité celebrated their first weekend together with a visit to Les Bisses du Valais. A “bisse” is an open ditch that delivers water from mountain streams, making for incredible hiking trails.   

Our presidents shared their thoughts after the event: 

“Our weekend getaway was a delightful mix of planning and bonding. I really liked the idea that we would all spend the weekend together to get to know how to work with each other. Saturday afternoon’s meetings were productive and what made it special was the laughter during the meetings and the new members’ ability to cooperate with older members. Sunday’s hike through the Swiss countryside was an adventure we tackled together, crawling through aqueducts and sharing stories along the way. As the weekend ended, we left with plans and a warm feeling of unity as friends, ready to take on anything together!”
